NetManage, makers of Chameleon and Internet Chameleon TCP/IP software, introduced a new version of Newt-SDK, its TCP/IP development kit.

Using the kit, developers can create custom TCP/IP applications for use on the Internet and other TCP/IP-based networks. It’s priced at $500.

The company also announced plans to bring the popular Winsock API to the Macintosh platform via Open Transport (the new networking component of the Macintosh operating system), allowing easy cross-platform programming.
